Role : Sr. Android Developer
Location : Burbank,CA (From second week candidate can work remotely,The client would provide relocation expenses for the right candidate)
Term : Full time Permanent Opportunity
Ideal candidate will have extensive experience with UI, images, video playback and adaptive bit ray streaming. Will need to be familiar with Galaxy, Kindle Fire & Nook tablets and obviously the 5 different models of Android phones.
Video Playback Exp is a must for this opportunity.
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years implementing Android applications on tablet and handset platforms
• 5+ years experience implementing OO solutions in an enterprise environment and a sound understanding of OO principles
• Sound knowledge of Android SDK and technologies
• Experience designing and implementing robust and reusable components
• Experience developing component and implementation documentation
• Experience using ORM technologies
• Experience integrating with RESTful API’s
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• A desire to learn new skills and technologies
Desired Experience
• An understanding of Agile software development principals such as Scrum, Continuous Integration, and test-driven development
• Familiarity with DRM technologies such as Widevine and Playready
• Familiarity with content digital asset management systems
• Familiarity with video compression codecs
• A background in the media or entertainment industry
