Android Question smaller displays

Hi, is there a way to prevent an app from running on a smaller display?

I designed my app to work on a ~5 inch display, squeezing down to a smaller display makes it hardly usable (unless I can add scroll bars) to the small display.

Do I have to stick all my components on a panel for it to scroll vertically?

A panel doesn't scroll, you will have to add them to a ScrollView.

To avoid small screens in your case might be tricky, read THIS for more details; people still have "small" screen phones.
