stoping a thread

how do i stop a thread that has already started? i am using the threading library, of course. thanks.

Look at the help for Thread.Interrupt using a Help Viewer. It has a brief description of how to control a Thread.

I am looking into this right now thanks.I am not sure how the interrupt command works. Will stop the thread immediately (the sub thread is blocking)?

I don't know what you mean by "the sub thread is blocking" but although brief the description for Thread.Interrupt is absolutely precise as to what will or will not happen to the Thread.
