I read the forums pertaining to this question and it seems possible if I manually add the Directories under the "Files" folder where my project is stored. but when i am placing a folder with the name pics in my dir.Assets folder, it is not recognized by B4A

If it is, how would a file called JFK.JPG in a folder called MAPS within the DirAssets folder be called, as in LoadBitmap(File.DirAssets,"JFK.PNG") www.b4x.com Upvote 0

Hi JohnC, thanks for the info, however it is not working here, i have added a folder name pics by using add group option in the file manager tab in ide, and then copied my pics to that folder through ide tab. It is working fine, but when i go to my Files folder of my project, i dont see any pics folder over there. The image files are there in the Files folder but there is no pics folder over there. JohnC Expert Licensed User Longtime User Mar 25, 2020 #7 Maybe as a work-around, name the files with a prefix like: housepics_1.png housepics_2.png drivewaypics_2-lane.png Where "housepics" and "drivewaypics" are the names of the folders you wanted to use. Otherwise, post #3 by KZero shows a method that is not fully supported but may work for your situation. Upvote 0
