I read that Ray Tomlinson didn't save the first e-mails. Ray Tomlinson explained, that he had just composed the e-mail texts from different lines without any sense.

weird, it is the same date alexander bell patented the phone.

Bell's patent 174,465, was issued to Bell on March 7, 1876, by the U.S. Patent Office.
