M Mahares Expert Licensed User Longtime User May 29, 2012 #4 Another solution might be to go to the LG web site and find a driver for that specific smartphone and download it to your PC. Then, you will be able to connect directly to your phone via the USb cable. Upvote 0

Any help would be appreciated. Click to expand... Try removing the SD card, yes I know it sounds daft but I had the exact same problem with an LG phone and this worked for me. Here's the thread that I posted in at the time http://www.b4x.com/forum/basic4android-getting-started-tutorials/6484-connecting-your-device-ide-4.html#post66605 It's also worth checking that the debug options are set in the phone.
