I in an application performs a number of action that does not require user intervention. I want to set up a sign that shows him to expect, such as under Windows, a circle that rotates.

Natively, you have the ProgressDialog https://b4x.com/android/help/core.html#keywords_progressdialogshow. It is not modal. So you can show it while starting the actions to be done and when they are finished you can hide it https://b4x.com/android/help/core.html#keywords_progressdialoghide

Have a look at this, there are at 4 examples of an animated waiting\loading type of widget. You could cut and paste or create your own unique one.

You can add a Panel with Transparent Background that cover whole activity and:
1. Add one of the great wrappers of progress circle in this forum (@DonManfred https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/donmanfreds-overview.54618/, etc..)
2. Add a GIF image onto it (I know, maybe not best solution)
3. Maybe a imageview with circle image rotating (@Informatix NineOldAndroid, Animations Plus,etc...)

When operations finish, hide the panel.

P.D:
Don't know if solution 1 runs on another thread than UI thread
