Obviously not b4x related, but certainly developer related and something you knowledgable lot may be able to help with.

I'm looking for some reasonably priced, UK based, shared web hosting. I used to like Jolt.co.uk but i'm not convinced they are in the UK and my past experience hasn't been perfect.

Hostinger seems to get mentioned a bit.

Had an accont with Hostpapa many years ago which was ok for about 6 months them went deathly slow.

So, any pointers?

I use https://www.webwiz.net/ for a very low traffic forum I have for 7 years now.
I think that they are OK, no down time that I'm aware of and reasonably priced.
Based in Dorset.

I'm good with IONOS here in Germany (was 1and1 before). Very fast and about 10 GBP/m. Check their UK site.

I've been using Ukhost4u for years, my server is with them, my clients VPNs are either on my server or using one of their services.

They are NOT the cheapest, but they are as far as I'm concerned the best.

Paul the owner and CEO is a top network specialist that knows his stuff (he only interacts his clients that have their own servers), Paul also only hires network and database specialists. Whenever you call Ukhost4u, no matter whichever phone option you select, a knowledgeable engineer that has direct access to the servers will ALWAYS answer the phone.

Their HQ is in Scotland and whenever I've had an issue (which over the past 10-15 years has been far and few between), I just called Ukhost4u and whoever answers the phone has always logged into the correct server and fixed issues.

I recommend them to all my clients without thinking twice about it.
