Now there's a weird situation - is your local in the east or the west - so if you take your laptop with you Google will Never know where you are - that would mess with location services.....would love to see and experiment with a machine on "the line" (or lets go to the 180 line and see if Windows can figure out the date and time). the ultimate time and space thought experiment.....I can see the Royal Observatory in Greenwich from the lounge
Your PC gets day and time from the network except if you set it manually. Windows gets them from a server : time.windows.com. And with the location of your @IP, it knows your time zone.I know there are people here interested in such things, and probably they find this interesting
