iOS Question Xcode how to initialise

Im new to creeting a local builder so forgive any newbie questions.

After I install xcode 9.4 do I need to create a new project and if so which type. For iOS or macOS

Secondly when I tried to to install B4iBuildServer it says xcode path cant be found. Probably as I havent configured any project or template yet. Do I put B4iBuildServer inside an xcode installed psth?

Please provide specifics

Found the pronlem it needed me to move xcode App from downloads to application group and the server ran fone
