Android Question Ripple effect on Android 5 sdk 21

Hello,
when i set sdk to 21, and set Theme.Material.Light,
I get nice ripple effect on buttons added to my layout.
But thie effect gets lost when i change the color property of this buttons.

Is there a way to change the color of a button view and keep nice ripple on it?

It is not possible as the RippleDrawable is replaced with a different type of drawable. You can use this library instead: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/ripple-effect-library.45918/
