Hi all.

I installed version 14.20 into a separate folder C:\Program Files\Anywhere Software\B4A142.

Now I'm getting the following error.

B4X: Copy
B4A Version: 14.20
Parsing code. (0.96s)
    Java Version: 19
Building folders structure. (1.38s)
Compiling code. (1.44s)

Organizing libraries. Error
Maven artifact not found: androidx.room/room-common-jvm
Source: FirebaseAdMob2

I'm using Firebase messaging and Crashlytics but not advertisement. I tried to uncheck this library - so far so good. Do I need this lib?
If so - what do I need to do about this error?

Thank you.

Thank you, I have this lib already. I just don't remember why I added FirebaseAdMob2.

By the way - why am I getting this error on the first place?
Go to sdk manager and search for androidx.room. scroll down until u see common-jvm. Check it and install it.

Not quiet. It was my first thought. The I looked at the source Source: FirebaseAdMob2

It was a different reason.

In my previous post it was Source: androidx.room:room-runtime

And it happened after I added additional jars as @Erel recommended.

This time I just opened a project and this error happened on compilation.

I didn't allow the R8 obfuscation. I didn't do any changes in manifest and didn't add additional jars.

In my previous post I played with the IDE on my test computer. Now I installed release version of IDE on my development computer.

i've run sdkmanager from IDE, selected room-common-jvm
it seems to have fixed it
R8 is not enabled, the only change was upgrading to 14.20
