B4J Question [ABMATERIAL] Create a "splash" page?

Hi guys

I was wondering if anyone has managed to create a splash page for a webapp?
I was wondering if the "application" page could be used for this along with a timer to fire out the splash page...
Thoughts??

Don't know if you could do this with a modal sheet or not?

Indeed, using a ModalSheet in ABMApplication could be used (the login is such an example, but you can put other components on the modal sheet like an image too).

I totally missed modal sheets... I guess it's been too long since I last dwell on ABMATERIAL.
Last question on this... can modal sheets be animated, like layout or from right to left or anything?

You can change the content layout, but no animation out of the box. For the content components, maybe with some CSS but the modal sheet itself is pretty fixed.

Hi again,

So, using a modalsheet, along with the same changes I aplied to the Modal Sheet Theming Tutorial and a Timer, I have successfully created a "Splash" screen, and by setting a variable, avoid that it comes back at each refresh of the page...
But, this also prevents the spalsh from showing if one opens the app in a new tab.... I guess t has to do with the session duration, but this goes over my head and is Not a must have for time beeing...
