Other RSP printing

Hi everyone

Guidance required

Install a Thermal printer to a Raspberry Pi
The RSP will be connected to a local Lan network
A tablet is connected to the same network
I want a text file printed in the Thermal printer from the B4A app running in the Tablet

I am planning to send the text file to RSP storage

A small program will run in RSP. Will print the received text file to the attached printer.


I just want to know if the above idea will work ? or is there any other efficient method to do the printing.

There should not be any PC in the network. wifi router can be used to establish the network

Yes. If you can print from the RPi then it will work. It is easy to send files to a B4J server.

Thanks @Erel. I have not used either RPi or B4J !. For B4J i am sure to get help from the forum. How to accomplish printing from RPi ? any link ?
