In those days, talking to a watch made us look lunatics. .. who's the lunatic now... even car control as pictured in the series is now possible.

This brings us to one of the most interesting discussions I ever had...

Your not wrong and that never even crossed my mind. I mean if you have for example a Moto 360 then you can say 'OK Google' to your watch and do all sorts of things, including controlling your Nest thermostat at home. Googles self driving cars have clocked millions of miles whilst testing on American roads etc.
