B4J Question ABMaterial for desktop app ?

ab material can be run in a browser, any browser, thus also in desktop environment if deployed locally and not from a vps...
So instead of tapping www.mywebapp.com, when running locally you access you desktop local host (127.0.0.1).
Still it is not what it was created to do...
Material visual and nice UI can be achieved easily with B4j

With custom view may be ? My objective is to make desktop app that's why I make a try with B4J, but I'm looking at a more "modern ui", that's why I asked this question.

here an example I'm working on...
it will be a customview for an in-house project...
Base created with the internal designer, and some css teaks with inline css...
How "modern" does it look to you?
