Android Question Access to Browser Favorites

Hello,
can anybody tell me how I can get access to the Browsers bookmark list?
I am thinking about writing an app with which I can write and edit a bookmark collection and add tags to the bookmarks.
Do I need mySqlLite for storage?

Any help would be appreciated.

That would seem to be both a security risk and invasion of privacy; I doubt it's possible for you to get that information from the browser directly. (Not to mention there are any different browsers.)

But I know that it is possible to read the contact list. And THAT is NOT an invasion of privacy?

That's a pretty big conversation that I'm not really willing to get into because of deadlines etc. Besides, you're asking the wrong person, you should direct that question to Google, not me.
