Android Question activity_pause and screen rotation

Hi all,
I have a little problem with screen rotation.
In my app i need activity.finish when i press home button. If i insert activity.finish in activity_pause this works.
But when the screen rotates, the application quits. any idea for resolve this last event? Tnx
