I am having some problems with bugs in mature applications when installed on Lollipop devices. It appears that some of the issues are platform independent and it is making debugging rather difficult. The users that are having problems are very remote from me using a variety of devices. If I could beg or borrow a device to debug the issues I would, however these are the latest and most expensive available on the market so that already poses difficulties.
Is there a method of capturing the device logs that are normally displayed on the right hand pane of the IDE and communicate them back to me? Ideally.....
- Detect a crash
- Harvest the current logs
- Mail/FTP them back to me.
It this feasable?
