Just saw this new IoT initiative from Google called Android Things.
It seems like their combining a few of their previous projects / companies into this. A new OS (based on Android API 24) that'll run on some certified hardware (Edison, Pi 3, etc.) and a common API to sensors, displays.
Anyone know more about it?
