Anyone interested in my Wear OS experience and learning curve?

I've just bought Skagen Falster 2 Wear OS watch, direct from Skagen, for the knockdown price of £89, instead of the previous £279. It wasn't worth £279 but as a plaything for £89 it doesn't really matter how bad it is.

I've never used an Wear OS device before and I wonder if anyone is interested in me starting a thread where I document my learning curve and pitfalls. I'm very happy to do it as long as enough people are interested. I know from previous experience that continued familiarity can cause one to overlook or forget the first experiences so let me know in this thread, either as a like or a post, if you are interested and that it would be worth my while doing it.

It would be of interest to me Andrew, I ordered one as well after seeing your post last week. It arrived yesterday. Hopefully I'll have some time next week to look once I've got my current project to a state where I can take a break from it.

I like the look and feel of the watch, comfortable to wear. I like watches and have a few analogue ones that don't really get worn that often, so it may not get a lot of use. And to be honest, I haven't given much thought to what I want to use it for, except maybe to play with programming it because it's there.

It is interesting as a task to learn to program for wear OS. I wouldn't use it though because the limited size of the watch doesn't give you I believe a lot of space for the interface. But as usual there are two answers for everything: mine and the correct one ???

It's true the screen is very small, but you really just need to re-think the UI for the smaller screen - just like developers had to re-think the UI when going from large desktop monitors to small smartphone screens.
