Android Question APK Install problem

Hi

I sent a apk file to a client to install but when trying to install this screen opens instead of installing the application.

On my device it works perfectly when I try to install it.

From the title at the top of the screen it looks the file suffix is zip, not apk. How are they trying to install it?

It just appears. The sufix is .apk

That tells me absolutely nothing about what they are doing to try to install it.

The user must touch the file link and install the app, but this does not happen.

It just appears. The sufix is .apk

An .APK (archive) is a .ZIP (archive) file, just the extension name differs. .APKs also have the same first 2 bytes "PK" as .ZIPs (PK=Phil Katz, IIRC, the original developer of 'Zip' archives)
Looks like maybe the client is somehow 'opening' the APK (which is opening as a ZIP) rather than 'Installing' the APK.
