APK name

I'm sure this comes under the heading of what Basil Fawlty would call Special Subject - the ******** obvious, but B4A creates a RESULT.APK file.

Two questions - why does it not call it PROJECTNAME.APK, and can I (should I?) just rename this before uploading to the Market?

Best way to find stuff like this is the Search field at the upper-right corner of this forum.

Basic4android Search: RESULT.APK

Thanks - that's actually very helpful.

More helpful than the Search facility in this instance, which I had previously spent some time on looking for such terms as APK Name, RESULT APK and others, without much success ;-)

That's why I decided to take the opportunity to show you how well it works. Sometimes you still need to start a new thread and ask a question, but that search field works remarkably well and has led me to lots of answers (though sometimes it still takes some time sifting through pages of results).
