iOS Question App distribution

I'm developing an app for my custumer's technicians that is strictly related to his activity and he has no need to put it on the store. There is an easy way to distribute the app to his technicians without using AppleStore? If not, there is a way to distribute the app in private mode avoiding the whole world could see it on the store?

You have Internal Testers in App Store. You can add Apple IDs of beta testers. They need to download TestFlight app from the store and thought TestFlight they install your build on their devices.
