I agree. :)

I bet that must open up some really interesting opportunity for distributing B4i apps?

Personally I'm not in great need of having my apps distributed outside the app store (I imagine @Jmu5667 would find it interesting though) but I would really like to be able to send versions to customers for testing before the app lands in the app store.

I don't know what the cost of an iPhone is in your country, but suffice it to say that Brazil holds the record for the most expensive iPhone in the world.
Then, as a developer, I have to pay US$100.00 a year to access the store (the national minimum wage is just over US$200.00)
All this for later, still having Apple telling me what I can or cannot put on the phone that I paid absurdly dearly to have.
There are cases like this from our colleague Ilan: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/apple-reject-my-app-and-i-dont-know-what-to-do.158701/
So, it's only fair that I put the app I want on the device I buy.
