iOS Question Appstore - Experience with 'Export Compliance'?

Hi everybody,

I've finished my first little iOS app. B4i made it a nice journey.
But for a few days now, I try to get it through that whole 'Apple Appstore Publishing Process'. And to be honest: I'm quite intimidated.
There are lots of pages, forms and stuff that has to be filled out. But what bothers me most at the moment, is the message that I need to provide documents for the Export Compliance (and make a report to the govt?).
I just don't understand that, or: I would say I don't see the need, as a neither let my app communicate with any services (https is mentioned) nor do I knowingly use any encryption. All the App does is writing a small log to the local storage (accessible via Files App). However, Apples documentation states, that using standard iOS functionality also uses encryption and if you use this, you have to provide the docs.

TL;DR:
Has any of you experience with that Export Compliance?

Thank you!

Thank you! That points me in the right direction. Should have used the forum search-function more extensively.
