Hi All,
I use a PDA, alps Q2and I use with this a 2D barcode reader Eyoyo ey-015. Both work well together.
Now I encountered a QR code, what contains normal text lines, separated by LF (0x0a). The reader can't transmit this line feed characters, so the reading comes as one long string. It is bad.
I talked the Eyoyo support, who sent me a setting code, so now the reader send the LF characters, what I checked in _WINDOWS_ and works well there, but in _ANDROID_ the reader doesn't work at all. Neither the most simple 1D barcode can read. The support said that my android does not support receive ASCII codes.

I believe this, but can I do something for that I get reading from my barcode scanner?

thanks in advance
Steven

This reader acts like a hardware keyboard, I use the barcode reader in a normal edittext. No textchange event needed, the reader reads or does not.
