Hi,

There are some languages designed for kids, like scratch. As b4x is easy to learn, isn't it suitable for kids?

But to make this basic4kids more attractive to children, more work has to be done. Like adding colorful cartoons.

That's a good idea! I used to use a language on the Amiga called AMOS that was simple and had a kids version (or at least I think it did, this is nearly 30 years ago!).
I need to learn scratch, I have a four year old that I'd like to start teaching programming to in a year or so.

B4X also supports Arduino and raspberry as scratch does. Maybe kids can start by using scratch and use B4X to do real world programming.
