Java Question b4xcombobox text & value

Hello all;
I would like to know what is the best practice to chose an employee name for example from a combobox, but to get back his ID instead of the name. Right now I am using list, map, and combobox to accomplish that.

Assuming that the names are unique (and they need to be) then a Map is a good solution.
