B4XPages and my ZFold & Resizing

I am not posting this in the questions because I am not sure exactly what is going on or what questions I would want to ask.
Just wanted to post my findings and see if anyone else has anything to add.

I know B4XPages wasn't made for this but I have been playing around with my ZFold-7 and Resizing

When I start the app on the cover it shows just fine (see ZFold-Cover.jpg) when I open the ZFold (see ZFold-Open.jpg) everything resizes as one would like.
If I manually resize the app to one of the sides (see ZFold-Resize-Left.jpg) and that works just fine.

The problem I get is when I close the ZFold (see ZFold-CloseCover.jpg) the app gets resized again (to top half of screen)

Strange that it would do this (my thought was it should have un-done the manually resize on the close and I tried to do this but doesn't seem to be a way)
Also, I notice if I hit the back button in this mode the app kind of gets resized again (but doesn't redraw properly so in this mode my app gets really hosed)

Anyway if anyone has anything to add / experiences please respond

Enable the logs: B4XPages.GetManager.LogEvents = True

I guess that the activity is recreated at some point.

Yes, have that. Do not see that happening.

I know that this is probably wrong but I feel like when the app is being resized it is being put in a virtual device (like VM on pcs) because everything after being resized if I hit the back button it will undo the resize (usually to the right screen size - other then when going from a resize in the open mode to the front cover. Then undo just seems to get the size wrong.

I do get onconfigurationchanged and IME heightchanged. But none of the heights that I get are the full screen height of the real device.

I keep trying to get the Jetpack working - but just don't seem to be able to get it to work
