Background

Hi
I want to know how to run an app in background. The user may be doing other job(s) either in the phone or in a tablet. The background app should be able to trap the events (pertaining to the background app) and execute the event code.
Also let me know if an app can be auto started after the device boot?

I think you need to search and read up on services. These can run in the background. They can also start on boot (and then your service can start your activity)
