Hello to all,
I'm new to this forum (and tool obviously).

I'm looking for an IDE to develop fast Prototype fopr Android aapplication and B4A seems perfect.

I want to execute it on ubuntu (10.4) and not on windows, because on this platform I0've already a perfectly working Eclipse/Android system.

Am I dreaming?

Thx

Well you can have both on Windows as they don't interfere with each other but if you want to run it on Linux I think your only option would be to use the Windows emulator WINE or failing that to run a virtual Windows machine but either way it still means you have to run the Windows binaries.

I want to switch to Ubuntu/Linux, because it performs better on my notebook.
But is B4A compatible with Ubuntu "without" problems?

I have tested on a VM using Parallels and it won't work. I have got an error about .Net missing.

I will make this "sacrifice" and install Ubuntu on my PC. I will reply here, if I could install B4A ;)
I will use the Ubuntu 14.04.

It gives a lot of errors and don't open. If Erel is interested, I will post the errors here...
(Yes, I have installed Net Framework 2, 3.5 and Mono...)

Did you tried with PlayOnLinux?
It is a highlevel manager for WINE but it could help with configuration.
