I have an old application that I have taken over than used mobile hand held devices and sent and received data through a web service. This is a work order program in which a mechanic will log in tablet, get him daiy work orders, enter closing information and time. Then will be sent to the web service and depending upon the called procedure, many table update are updated.
I have all the old service code and eamples of the http calls made from the mobile device.
I am a VB and C# programmer who has writen the desktop version of the software and many windows services that connunication with other software in the plant. I would like to do the mobile andriod application but sure could use some help especially as to what is doable or not.
