(Also the first external disk I've ever owned.) Ten years later, in 1995, Johnny Mnemonic, came in with a massive storage increase. ("I can carry nearly eighty gigs of data in my head.") Thankfully it's simple to get something like a memory card for 1TB nowadays, so no need to keep a bunch of Johnny's around when you need the extra storage space.
