With OS 10.2.1 BlackBerry will be bringing the ability to install Android APK files right on the device from the Browser or File Manager. Unlike previous OS versions where you had a lengthy process of converting the APK to a readable BAR file, then sideloading using any number of methods, you now are just a few taps away from getting a plethora of Android apps on your device quickly and easily.

This is true. From a OS 10 Dropbox app it just needs a double click to install the apk file, if the setting "Install from unknown sites" is active. I have the Q10 and even from its small screen it is working flawlessly.

From my experience about 7 months after its initial release OS 10 has become extremely stable. For business use the UI is ahead of others OS's and I like the keyboard for fast typing and the context sensitive proposal of e-mail addressees which is second to none.

Another great opportunity for the B4A community.

ok BB OS 10.2.1

it means simply the apk we produce can be installed in any bb devices with 10.2.1 or higher.

(it's wonderful knowing Q10 can run the apk)
