Bluetooth example clarification

Hi, I have a question about the bluetooth tutorial. I have seen and kind of understood the code but I could not see at any point the password being sent for the connection.
Is it that the password sending and the connection establishment is not part of the code and handled by the tab/phone itself?

The question needs some clarification.. would you please?
did you try to connect to a physical Bluetooth device, if yes what happened, and if not then I think it would be difficult to discuss theoretical problems, you may need to try the example first and then report any problem you find.
