A bright star browser in the form of a 2x2 home screen widget, ideal for quick reference and education.
The widget provides data, descriptions and charts for the 50 brightest stars in the night sky. Data is based on Hipparcos.

* Typical spectrum image
* Star image in spectral class color
* Star chart excerpts
* Browse or pick a star randomly

After installation, a splash comes up with instructions and an About button. Please appreciate that widgets cannot be moved to external memory card.

That looks great, I have more than a passing interest in Astronomy, but not enough time to study it properly. I'll definitely check it out.
