Calling blocks of text suggestion?

I'm wondering about the most efficient way to call a block of formatted text (a paragraph for example) to screen by button. There would be numerous paragraphs, and each paragraph would need to be called specifically, not randomly.

The goal is similar to a quote or joke of the day type scenario - click a button and text appears on screen.

I think you can use XMLSax to parse data from xml file:

Or you can use SQL database (it's more complicated):

Thanks, I'll look at the XML - it may be an option. I'm trying to avoid SQL. At the moment, as a test, I have assigned each text block to an activity through designer - so far it seems ok in every aspect except likley not the most efficient way...
