Chinaphones vs. Samsung & Co.

I've made some good experiences with phones from China:

Cubot One (about 120€): Fast (you don't notify that is has 1 GB RAM only), good display, stable.

Star HD9000+ (about 220€ 2 years ago): Fast, huge display, 6", 2 GB RAM). For me it was "too big".

Thinking of One+ (here about 300€ for the 16 GB version)

What about you?

They are the same KMatle,
Only the brand name that's being sold!! I always use good Chinese phone. they even have dual SIM cards and other stuff that you can't find elsewhere.

Not always the same. By experience, I can say that some components aren't the same. For example the sensors.
I have worked with my friend from Wiko some years ago to make an utility for the flip flap case they wanted to activate some part of the screen when the case was closed.
Wiko in its first time was specialized in branding Chinese phones. The manufacturer advertised they were the same phones as the Samsung. But the components weren't the same. For example the Galaxy Ace gt-s5830 was far much sensible compared to the Cink. But it was the same main board...

You are right, and one should be careful when buying Chinese products.. so many counterfeit and phones are no exception. But there are really good stuff there..

Chipset's are different. China phones mostly use a MTKxxxx chipset.

New line of Mediatek chipset is better than Qualcom Snapdragon.

I'm using a Zopo (Octacore, full HD etc etc.) which is, of course, a chinese product.
It's very good for testing app because it comes with a lot of options for developers (it's a very long list: scaling, rendering, CPU usage, layout limits, debugger, mouse pointer and so on). What I use most is its ability to have different resolutions in overlay (from 720x480 mdpi up to 1920x1080 xhdpi)
