Chrome: Memory consumption

Browsing f.e. 9gag.com Chrome uses 1,5 GB RAM after some minutes. For a test I used Edge and this doesn't happen. It's even faster than Chrome Anyone with the same experience?

i dont know why, but when i use b4a + chrome it use around 2gb of ram.
if i open a game + chrome it use around 2 gb too.

chrome alone i dont have problems, i think this have some conflict with other programs on my pc

for now i m using opera (native block ads), fast and dont have conflict with another programs

16GB here...

Sorry, I meant that I have 16GB of RAM on my PC, so memory consumption is not a problem.
My memory usage at this very moment (Chrome + B4A + VirtualBox Based Android Emulator) is: 4.8GB
