I've already got a couple of my android apps running on my windows desktop. You need to follow the instructions for developers at https://developer.chrome.com/webstore/get_started_simple and playing with unzipped files to get more than one app installed, but it all seems to work quite well. I thought it might be good for testing, but I'm afraid it takes too long and debugging probably won't work properly. Clearly it is meant to boost the app count in Chrome OS, but the fact that it works in Windows is a real bonus. I'm going to try and get a couple of desktop apps published and see what happens. david
