[closed] Looking for a B4A dev who can update a project to current SDK

Hi,

we have an older project which was written back in 2018 using B4A version 9 with target SDK 26. This APK does not install on Android 15 anymore.

Unfortunately the guy who wrote the software for us has passed away, so we have no chance to have this updated to run on current Android. :(

The source compiles well on current B4A 13.4. But just raising the target SDK to 32 does not help as the app does not recognize its settings on A15, but it still runs well on A13.

We are looking for someone who can update this project to run fine on current Android and raise it to target SDK 34. Due to company policy signing an NDA is required. Also we need an official invoice.

I recommend you describe the app a little bit, so people have a better idea of the challenges involved. A screenshot of the enabled libraries would probably also help.

It would probably also be very appreciated to post an indication of what you would be willing to pay.

We have currently one guy looking into it and two more contacts on our list. Currently we are fine and no further replies are required.

I'm really familiar with forums, running one by myself sice the late 1990's - but here is neither an option to edit the topic title nor to edit own posts. Apart that every single post needs moderation. Not sure what's wrong with my account.

Sorry, I'd have done that, but this forum software does not like me obviously :(
