B4R Question connect to USB-plugged ESP without compilation

HI, All

Why "connect" in the IDE to the USB-plugged ESP is impossible sometimes ?
I mean - the task is to debug, check the MCU logs after power manipulations, USB re-plugging, but without re-flashing - IDE sometimes does not connect to it.

How to collect more exact information, Erel ?
Mostly button "Connect\Disconnect" works - changes the state when clicking.
But some time - it does not change the state and no connection to the board.
All these occured during long time period...
OK, will watch more the conditions when the button stopped to work.
