controlled hdmi output

In normal operation, the HDMI output of my tablet mimics the tablet display. But youtube (for example) allows the user interface plus video on the tablet, while outputting full screen video on the hdmi port? The HDMI port output is different to the tablet display. (I'm using a xoom btw)

Is this functionality supported with b4a?

So, you can't use a tablets hdmi output as an extended screen or cloned output?

I get all these crazy request.

Yes, thanks. I just noticed that.

I'm not sure my tab 8 can be attached to an external display via hdmi.
