Conversations / Inbox / Attachments

Communicating with other folks on this site is very helpful and support is always greatly appreciated. It is very satisfying to come across a bunch of people who are comfortable in lending a helping hand.

Communicating in a private chat on topics around B4x invariably requires attachments of either code or images etc. However this particular platform does not facilitate sending a zip file back and forth.

It would really be helpful if you could possible include a mechanism to send files (attachments) to and from parties in a conversation. I know it will bump up disk space requirements but if that is an issue perhaps have attachment could be deleted after 3 months or so ?

Anyway, including an attachment facility would be excellent.

You should post it in the chat room. Anywhere Software doesn't maintain it.

I think he is talking about PMs and wishes to attach files to them.

Correct, I was talking about private messages. It is not appropriate to be posting a two way conversation and attachments in the open forum.

As I see it here, there is no way to attach anything. I believe it would be a welcomed function.

I see... Licensed users can now send attachments. Note that the attachments will be deleted from time to time.
