Hi Guys...

I decided to start creating "Demo Apps" so I can build some kind of Portofolio, BUT, since I don't know many people in order to know real-life needs, I don't even know where to start.

So I turn once again to your insight...

Is "App Duplication" a good way to start a portofolio?
Which type of apps should I be looking into?

For now I want to start with Desktop only Apps, and then begin experimenting with Desktop/Mobile shared apps...

I mean, Take an existing app, and try to duplicate it's basic function, like a stock management tool, or something like that...

Most samples Erel provided could be source of inspiration :
- Talkie Walkie
- Ble2 Hart monitor
- Cloud KVS for syncing settings or sharing data

As a general advice : try to personalize their interface to suite (I don't know if it is the correct word) your own visual identity (I mean TuGaDroid's own visual identity). But try to stay on the market you have chosen

Yes, creating a kind of visual signature by using color scheme and Logo... that is a must, and I aim to it, but my design skills are next to null.

Don't you have any idea about how you would like to be visually understood ? They are a lot of tutorials about colors on the web and for starting you perhaps won't need to order some work to a pro designer. So let it be simple
