Creating a text based app - PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Hey all,

Please excuse my total newbness, I have no real idea what I'm doing.
I wanna create an app that has a block of text and allows you to scroll up and down.

So, my question is simple.

Can someone help me with some code PLEASE???

What would be easier loading from a word doc or applying the block of text to a scrolling label?


I've searched online but I can't find anything that doesn't confuse the heck outta me.

PLEASE HELP!

I found this tute/thread, but I'm not sure what I can do to change it so I can just add the text I need.
