I had typed part of a word 'Fil' into the editor and pressed the Ctrl+Space to see what it did. I had some strange results. In the Windows Toolbar it displayed the first image - tbar.png (below). In the Editor it showed an edit area with nothing in it. Second Image. I must have done something wrong here. Attachments tbar.PNG 1.7 KB · Views: 299 CtrlSpace.PNG 14.9 KB · Views: 332

BPak Active Member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 24, 2010 #3 Sorry. My mistake. Correct images attached below. Cap1.png shows what is displayed at top left corner of screen. See the small Blue rectangle, Green Arrow, etc. Cap2.png shows what happens when start typing after issuing the Command CTRL + SPACE. It is erratic. Sometime nothing happens at all and other times the events shown here happen. Attachments cap1.PNG 4.3 KB · Views: 334 cap2.PNG 2.5 KB · Views: 323

BPak Active Member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 24, 2010 #5 It is the Microsoft IME Phonetics. Opened it up and noticed it had English and Chinese. Deleted Chinese. Made it Hidden instead of displayed on the Task Bar. Now it causes no problems for me. Matter of fact Ctrl+Space does not work. Better to not work than lock up the input in the IDE, for me that is.
