When running ddms I get the Dalvik Denug Monitor but no device. The message is: Failed to initialize Thread: Unable to establish loopback connection. Any thoughts?

This happens even if i just start the emulator from the IDE, "fresh from the box" so to speak. 1) start B4A 2) tools--> run avd manager 3) starting the emulator 4).... waiting till emulator is ready 5) cmd: ddms 6) error!!! restart ABD server didn't help.
