Deeployment Package?

When I compile and run from the IDE using B4a Bridge, even when the Bridge is stopped and closed I get a "Waiting for IDE Debugging to connect" (or something similar) message. How do I compile and install a project as if it were finished and being deployed? (so I can see what my audience will see). Please include a link to the documentation or discussion. Thanks.

I think that you have the 'debug' option on. You should check the 'release' one, in order to get the apk. See the attachment.

Duh! Might be wise for me to wake up or at least open my eyes, huh? I know its somewhere in the documentation or the Beg. Guide, but what is "Release (obfuscated)"?

And maybe you can answer anther question. I compiled to my device using Bridge and Release rather than Debug, When I selected the app from Manage Applications on the device, under the app name it says "Version". However, even though I set the version number in the IDE --> Project, there is nothing shown for the version number on the device. Why might that be? Thanks again. (By the way anyone know of a good version manager for b4a?)
